About This Report
At Brady Corporation, we're excited to share how we've expanded our efforts to Protect our Future in 2012! We plan to issue a full sustainability report every other year, with annual content updates. We are pleased to release this Sustainability update to our inaugural 2011 report that includes key performance data and highlights for Calendar Years 2011 and 2012 (unless otherwise noted). Updates to the 2011 report are highlighted at the start of each section.
Brady Corporation seeks to follow best practice in sustainability reporting. As such, both our 2011 report and the 2012 updates follow the Global Reporting Initiative's (GRI) G3.1 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines at a self-declared Application Level C. Both the required Profile Disclosure elements and the performance indicators reported on are listed in our GRI Content Index with links to the sections of the report where you can find more information.
The report covers the sustainability priorities focused in three pillars: Sustainable Company, Sustainable Customers and Sustainable Communities. For a brief overview of our programs and accomplishments, please see our Highlights of Performance section. Available data and information was collected from all of Brady Corporation's locations worldwide, with the exception of standalone offices due to relatively minor impacts associated with these facilities.
